LIMITADA 2018 REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: Perfect draw. HUGE smoke output and tons of cream. Black pepper and cherries. Half an inch down and this is my kind of cigar: cream with a kick! Nearing the end of first third, I'm met with cinnamon and gingerbread.
Second third. You ready for an insane sommelier off-the-top-of-my-head flavor combo? Horchata and pizza. And no I'm not drinking right now (or eating pizza for that matter). The creaminess now transmutes into cedar and the smoke output continues to boom.
Final third begins with fig jam. Cinnamon and cedar. Ends with nuttiness.

Pairing Suggestion: Rye.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Box.
LIMITADA 2018 REVIEW – WISCONSIN
Summary: This cigar had layers of flavor. It came strong with black pepper, oak, cedar, cereal grain, and cream. Underneath were notes of bread, lots of baking spices, apple cinnamon, gingerbread, and lemon. There was a lot going on in the flavor department, and I dug that.
The construction could have used some work. It had a loose draw and needed a significant number of touch-ups along the way to keep the burn anything like even.
It was a mixed bag: great flavors, but needed quite a bit of attention to get through.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: If you like using your favorite lighter a lot, but you also like layers of flavors.
Pairing Suggestion: Sweet tea.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Five pack.
LIMITADA 2018 REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: This cigar is unique in its shape with a soft box press and torpedo shape at the cap. The scents from the wrapper remind me of the way our kitchen smells when we take corn bread right from the oven and cover a piece of it with honey and butter; my mouth is watering. The cold draw is just a little on the loose side featuring flavors of honey, cream and hay.
Entering turn 1, sugar cookies and notes of bread with hints of cinnamon and... plastic make up the profile. The retro-hale is dominated by bread notes with some cinnamon and a mild pepper spice finish.
This cigar is burning perfectly and even when I ignore it in the rest, all it takes is a small puff and smoke boils from the foot!
Towards the middle of the cigar the flavors transition predominately to leather, walnut and familiar notes of fresh bread. There is a very mild cedar finish to the entire profile as well. The retro-hale is pretty much the same profile but carries some sweetness.
Moving into the final portion of the cigar and flavors of sourdough bread, leather, cedar and mixed nuts combine for a very smooth, enjoyable experience.
Mechanically, the cigar is perfect. Zero burn issues and large amounts of smoke from the very beginning! This would be an excellent cigar to introduce a new smoker to the sport.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Chillin with a cigar podcast.
Pairing Suggestion: Rye whiskey.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: 5 pack.
