Viaje Skull and Bones WMD (2017)
Viaje cigars, continuing their tradition of small batch runs, is bringing back the Skull and Bones Weapon of Massive Destruction (WMD). The Skull and Bones line has been around since 2010 with its first release of the Daisy Cutter. The 2017 WMD will be the 27th Skull and Bones release and the fourth time (2011, 2012, 2014, 2017) the WMD has been shipped to select Viaje accounts. Following the three previous iterations, this year’s WMD will be 3 ¾ x 54 in the robusto vitola. Staying true to its name, the WMD is a pepper bomb due to the Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper and Nicaraguan binders and fillers. For those looking for a Nicaraguan pepper bomb, the WMD is a must pick.
Not much is known about the Viaje Friends & Family series. Originally released in 2011, Andre Farkas explained the project as “his Cohiba”. Something he created as a personal blend for himself and friends. The Viaje Friends & Family Cadeau is a 7 x 48 Box Pressed Churchill which comes in boxes of 15. Halfwheel reviewed the Cadeau in 2012 and it was given a score of 92.
