BYRON 21ST CENTURY REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: Perfectly even color on the wrapper leaf. Starting off, I’m met with white pepper and faint cedar. Call me impatient, but 5 minutes in and I’m hoping for this cigar to kick into gear in the flavor department. Almonds now.
Orange chocolate hints at a turnaround in the second third. The construction is on point, but the tasting notes are back to being one dimensional.
Final third. Same ol’ same ol’.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Pancakes sans syrup.
Pairing Suggestion: Chocolate milkshake.

BYRON 21ST CENTURY REVIEW – WISCONSIN
Summary: Flavors coming from this cigar include oak, cocoa, hay, gingerbread, tea, and a light spice.
The draw was loose, and the burn got pretty far off pretty frequently. I needed to use my lighter much more often than I'd like.
Two blind cigars in a row with burn issues that deeply impacted my experience? That's fascinating and rare.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Giving your lighter a workout.
Pairing Suggestion: Rum.

BYRON 21ST CENTURY REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: This stick has a silky-smooth wrapper. It’s really a nice lookin’ cigar. The foot smells like mild tobacco, a floral arrangement and some soap.
Immediately bursting with deep, fragrant wood and spice notes in the room smoke. On the palate, oak, minerals, baking chocolate, some nuttiness, and just a hint of the floral notes carried on the foot.
The retro hale smoke is smooth and yet boisterous. Pretty serious pepper blast, some very rich tobacco notes, baking spices, marinated raisin... it’s a very dark, spicy mix.
Middle. Smooth wood notes, baking spices, malt (like that powder you can get to make homemade malts) and just a hint of floral and pepper spice. Great construction and smoke!
End section continues to impress. Nice savory wood notes, leather, raisin, spices, hints of pepper... great smoke, perfect burn line.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Warm sand and cold crispy boys.
Pairing Suggestion: Any ice-cold brew.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Box.
