Y Nada Mas translates to 'and nothing more,' capitalizing on Partagas' recent efforts to reach a more boutique-centric audience under General Cigar. The first release is a tribute to Santiago in the Dominican Republic as well as the acclaimed William Ventura factory.

Y NADA MAS SANTIAGO REVIEW – DOM
Summary: Delicious red pepper, oak, and cream create a wombo combo of flavors that sit right with me from the get-go. In a four-way Venn diagram with circles of spice, cream, sweet, and savory, this cigar sits smack dab in the center.
Baking spices arrive halfway down with cinnamon taking the forefront. While I haven’t been actively jotting down too many specific tasting notes throughout, I’ve enjoyed every puff from beginning to end.

Y NADA MAS SANTIAGO REVIEW – RICH
Summary: This cigar brought notes of espresso, earth, dark chocolate, charred steak, and caramel. It got particularly bitter at several points.
The draw was quite open, which probably led to the bitterness. I'll be curious to read if others noticed the same thing or if I should give this cigar another try.

Y NADA MAS SANTIAGO REVIEW – BEN
Summary: I enjoy a little leather mixed with cherry notes and it makes me feel like I’m drinking a Cape Cod. The party started great but was rudely interrupted by a taste that reminded me of an overly grilled hotdog: burnt and lingering. Felt two-note'ish. Not many transitions in flavor for me.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Getting dressed and going nowhere
Pairing Suggestion: Reposado, chilled
Perceived Strength: Medium

Participants in this blind review were completely unaware of the cigar they were evaluating until all submissions were received and processed. Each participant was asked to answer a summary paragraph, an if/than statement, a pairing suggestion, and a purchase suggestion. Cigars were provided by Small Batch with only the expectations of candid responses. All pictures, information, and formatting were completed by a Coordinator outside of the reviewing process.
